Terms

A non-refundable deposit is required in advance of every project to hold the dates. The deposit shall be 25% of the total production cost. No deposit means NO guarantee on the dates. The remainder plus expenses are due on the first day of production. This applies to both recording and mixing sessions. NO exceptions. Deposits on missed dates, cancellations and postponements without 30 days notice are subject to forfeit unless a replacement project of equal value can be found for the scheduled dates. NO MIXES, ROUGHS, MASTERS, FILES, MEDIA OR DATA OF ANY KIND WILL BE RELEASED UNTIL THE FULL BALANCE IS PAID! I accept cash and check PAYABLE TO JAMIE WOOLFORD. I can accept credit cards via PayPal. 


Expenses

Items including but not limited to equipment rental, heads, sticks, picks, strings, hard drives, additional disc burns, session archival, food, beverage, shipping, travel costs, and hotel accommodations are considered an expense and are NOT included in the quoted price.

Be prepared!

Many of the likely pitfalls in recording can very easily be avoided if careful preparation is made. I have posted a great deal of information on my website regarding recording session preparation & I encourage everyone (musicians, managers, etc) involved in the strongest, most polite way possible, to carefully read all of it. Travel

I have on occasion travelled to the band's location to work and my fee is typically the same plus travel, hotel, and per diem. Please ask in your initial email if this is something you're interested in. Bands from overseas are highly encouraged to do this as I love to travel and see new things. I love long walks on the beach and... oh... right.

Complimentary setup

Stem Recording offers my clients a complimentary 1 hour setup on the night before we start. This is perfect for loading in all your gear and doing a quick setup and staging so we can get down to business sooner on the first official day. You MUST bring your new drum heads to this setup so we can put them on and they can acclimate to the drums and the room overnight.

Rates:

Prices are subject to change. Quoted rates are guaranteed once the deposit has been received and expire after 90 days from issued date. Please contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.

FLAT RATE / FULL PRODUCTION*:

DAILY RATE with STUDIO TIME included*:
$450 per day.

MIX RATE with MASTERING included**:
$230 per song.
Expenses NOT included.

HOURLY RATE (2 hr min / 10 hr max):
$30 per hour.
Studio time and expenses NOT included.

*The included studio time is only at Stem Recording, AZ.
